Oil And Water Don’t Mix! …. Or Do They?

The city of Fort McMurray is often referred to as the oil capital of Alberta, a powerhouse in the resource development sector, and a community built around the oil sands industry. 

However, oil isn’t the only thing abundant in the area; four rivers meet within the Wood Buffalo area, offering a glimpse at unparalleled natural beauty! 

The neighbourhood of Grayling Terrace wanted a piece of this beauty closer to home, while recognizing their oil and gas history. 

And so, Grayling Terrace Spray Park was created, its focal point being a large oil derrick amidst water cannons and nature-inspired spray features, offering a unique destination for residents and visitors alike!  

 And who said oil and water don’t mix!
