Ballou Park in Kelowna is a stunning playground that utilizes KOMPAN’s Robinia nature play line to create a natural play environment that blends in with the natural backdrop of the surrounding park. When the client first brought forth the concept for this playground, they wanted a challenging, exciting play space that would be fun for all ages.
Completed in 2023, Ballou Park is full of thrilling play features, such as an epic zipline, custom double tower structure, two different swing sets, and more! Due to the complex grade changes that existed in this site, designers had to come up with unique solutions that would work in the playground, such as the embankment slide and zipline.
Regardless of age or ability, anyone looking to have fun and play on a unique playground will have an absolute blast at Ballou Park!
